Getting Started

When you call our antenatal clinic we will ask you questions about yourself, your family and your medical background, similar to that contained on the on-line form. This will enable us to ensure that you receive the most appropriate care.

What Happens Next?

This referral will be processed and you will be sent an appointment for your antenatal booking appointment and your 12-13 week ultrasound scan. 

Your booking appointment will last approximately one hour 20 mins, and during the appointment your midwife will take a detailed history, give you your maternity records and make future appointments with you.

She will also answer any questions that you have about your pregnancy and on-going care.

Please note we are a teaching hospital and when you attend your appointments there maybe students present. If you would like to decline please inform a member of our reception staff on arrival.
